Ted Light established Lighthouse Energy Consulting in 2020 after more than a dozen years in the energy industry. He is well-versed in a wide array of topics related to energy efficiency, demand response, and other distributed energy resources.
He has completed dozens of conservation and demand response potential assessments for electric and gas utilities across the northwest in addition to other analyses involving cost-benefit analysis, avoided costs, measure characterization, peak demand reductions, program performance, and other topics.
Ted has served on advisory committees for the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance and the Northwest Power and Conservation Council and taught high school math and science with Teach For America. He holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University.
When he is not planning the energy future, Ted is likely out exploring the world by foot, bike, skis, or snowshoes, baking bread, or learning something new, often with his wife and dog.
